MONTHLY NEWSLETTER - January'24

I'm going to introduce a little bit about myself on this page and update every month, so that I can connect with you better and hope that you feel my artworks closer.

This is the first newsletter in this year, and I'd like to tell all the clients and friends "Happy New Year!" - I know it's a little late for that, but I wanted to say anyway.

How was your new year moment? I had just "normal" drinking and eating nice stuff and fell asleep quickly new year moment. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and new year moment.

I'd like to start with bunch of pictures to show you how I paint. Some people asked me how I create paintings and many times I tried to take some pictures of process of a painting before. but I failed every time because in the painting process, I focus and tend to forget everything else around me and time passes so quickly - then I forget to take some pictures...

I picked a painting from "Blurred Face Series"to show you how I paint because this series always go step by step and pretty predictable how I go. This painting is one of newest painting in this year calls "ALEXANDRA'S HOUSE" and available at GO LARGE section.

I chose bright yellow as the first layer this time and added outlines with a pencil. Then I started painting form the background to floor to dress and hands then face. I was struggling to pull off this complex dress. I had to add more and more details and shadow on this dress. Normally the face part is made in the end but I added little more details on her head for this painting. After I finish all the details on the person, go back to background and floor to add more details and color adjustment. This process takes very long time and all the detailed works are always driving me crazy! When I hear from customers that they love what they purchased from me makes all intense and stressful process O.K. and made me really happy too! I hope this newsletter can answer to some clients who asked me how I paint nicer way than I explain verbally.

NUDE MODE

This painting is very special piece form my works and I'd like to just post here and show you.

It took twice longer than usual to complete and there are many complex layers. The process was almost a sport than normal painting process. I used many brushes, painting and even my bare hands. I wanted to throw everything I got as a painter to this canvas and didn't want to think about what others would think about this. I don't what this is but this work makes you stare for a while.

NATURE PRACTICE SERIES

I've got many things to show you this month and can't post everything what I've made so far.

I was exploring new techniques and thought this one is interesting enough to develop so made some paintings with this new idea of painting. I use multiple colors as one brush stroke and form something inspired by nature. I will come back to this series later to make some more from this series again.

OK, That is it for this year!
